Was a bit worried there, but you pulled it off..

With a low score and the fact that this song had been animutated at least once before over 3 years ago ( (the newgrounds URL)/portal/view/30104 Sorry for this weird way of posting it, but NG doesn't allow URLs in reviews.) and the fact that you said it was German when it was actually Dutch (Just because it says so on a file sharing program doesn't make it true. Just like all of those "Weird Al" songs).

But anyways, onto the video itself. You pulled it off quite well. Good visuals, and it didn't look to much like something done as someone's first flash. Also there was some original visuals and cameos, on wasn't incredibly clihe ridden. I mean it's the first animutation that I think I've seen Fat Bastard play an important role in. Some of the translations might have not been the best, in that a few didn't really sound like what they were saying and were used for the sake of making sure every line was translated. But it was quite funny, and proabably better than the other video with this song. Keep up the good work.

Groovy man!

While this video wasn't hysterically funny, and did use some images that have been a bit overused on the net (such as the dancing banana and the fat girl), it succeeeded in being a video that was just a lot of good fun. Another thing this video had going for it, was the amount of style and flow that it semed to have, which didn't make it seem like a bunch of rushed crap, like some things I've seen. There are some scenes in heere that work really weel with the music, such as that simple animation of that snapping. Keep up the good work!

PS: Finish Wild Bill!

It's great to see that one of my favorite Animutators gave me an 8 for this simple cartoon. Yeah... those two images are overused, but I didn't plan on this cartoon turning into my first
NewGrounds submission... :P

Better review this before ppl get the wrong idea

You're artwork and animation skills have always blown me away, and I can't wait to see the full completed project. My only complaint about it is that you haven't offered anything new from what you've laready shown elsewhere. But hopefully posting it here will get more word of it spread out, despite getting a few stupid "STOLEN" comments, which are techinically not allowed on NG according to their review rules. But then again, nobody ever reads them.

Not sure what to really think...

Well, I'm slightly torn between how to react to this, since I was the creator of the mix used in this! Wahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! However, I'm dispointed in it result. For one, I didn't like how there seemed to be sudden breaks in the song, and the fact that you left out the "Life is like a Mop" and the "Monkey Magic" part. Plus I was not creditted. Some of the scenes in the video were kind of funny, but it didn't really seem to match the flow of the song. It just seemed like a bunch of random stuff going on that sometimes payed attention to the lyrics but not the overall feel of the music. But the fact that you used my mix made me vote a 5 for it anyways.

Not bad, but it's an improvement

Good to see you manage to make a video in two days, and I can see that you've improved since the last one. Your voice is pretty clear, as it was in teh other one. Smige's was a bit on the rough side but better than the other guy in your first video. I found at the beggining though that it was a bit on the boring side, and not extremely funny, but I found it got better as it went along.
Also, on the debate of music, I found it a bit too distracting in both times. I think the best soultion would proabably be to either ditch the music, or use instrumental stuff since the vocals can be distracting (like Green Onions by Booker T and the MGs. That's a classic). Also if you worked a bit more with the music like to establish mood and things as opposed to it just being something played in the background it would proabably be better. But otherwise I'd say you deifnetly have potential.

Well I guess I'll be honest...

This video was a fun insane romp feautring dancing spork rampaging throughtout the world. And that I liked. However, I'm not completely sure if I am comfortable with your choice of music. Yes, it added to the insanity of everything since the song was comepltely irrelevant to the video, and I can see it as being a possible artistic statement against NGers who claim things are stolen just by seeing one shared element just as what happened with some of your other works. And it proabably also pleased thw Spork mistress herself. Yet I felt there were much wackier songs that could have been used (like Everybody Eats when They Come to My House by John Lithgow). Then the song could have had a better chance of being spread over the universe instead of seeming like it was riding off the "Bananaphone video fad", and then the sporks would truly succeed in their goal in global domination. But whatever, it's your video and it was still a good use of the song.

TmsT responds:

If only I'd known that the Bananaphone song was already an internet Flash cliche, I might've used some of my other dixie trash instead. :( Ahh well. I liked the song, Sporkie kinda likes it; I'll use a different song for a different animation when it's your birthday. So to speak. Too bad nobody else here digs that.

Ninjas and Pirates! What more could one want?

Pretty good job! I congradulate you all! Here's my thoughts on the various vids

McBean's - This was my favorite out of the four. It was really funny and well put together, and I haven't even seen Kill Bill. In fact, I think I liked this better than the Arfenhouse 3 trailer, proabably because it was about ninjas and pirates. (10/10)

Luis - This was proabably my second faovrite. Well animated, action oacked and hte music gave it a nice touch too. Howver it just didn't seem as epic and memorable as McBean's did. Thus I giv e it 8.5/10

Squeezy- Heheheh. Pirates Who Don't Do Anythign. great choice of song. In fact, I've considerred possilbly making a video to that song. The animation was pretty good, but I felt you could have done a lot more with the song, such as do more work with the lyrics, as opposed just having charatcers bounce around. Also I was hoping for more of the song to be in there witht he whole part about kissing chipmunks and stuff, but then again this was a time trial and you can only do so much in it. 7/10

Openwounds- Fairly well animated but rather boring and really short. I was asking myseld "What what was that all about?" after first watchign it, and I still do. 5/10

Kind of dispointed that the other entry got taken off before I could get to see it since it ripped off Bitey of Brackenwood. I would have still been interested in seeing it, if it actually did some orignal things in incorperating ninjas and pirates.

Heheh..

Ahhh, this take me back to the good ole days when I was about ten years old and I used to write strange comic books that hopped around various "Meanwhiles", except they were proabably even more random than this was.

Anyways, on to the video itself..
The first part I thought was really funny, wild and and crazy and was proabably the best part of the video. I felt the song was really catchy two. Then, the invader Zim part was allright, btu the animation was pretty good. The third part was proabably my least faovrite of the three main scenes. Although you did a really good job at imitating the South Park style of animation, I just found that scene to be abit on the borign side. But then again, I've never really been a Cheech and Chong or a South Park Fan.

Overall, the animation was proabably the best part about the video. I hope to you make another "MEANWHILE" type video in the future though, sicne I definetly think you have potential.

Hooray!

The fact that you were able to make an incredibly random video that was not over ten megsmt his time impresses me enough. I liked the bulimnal mesages and such, although at times i did feel that the video may have been a bit too busy for my tastes in order to fully comprehend the jokes that were occuring.

Of course it had Abe Lincoln in it, so it had to be good.

It's nice to see you're still alive

Despite the fact that many of the pics were reused from yuor previous, I think it was really well done and entertaing. Very nice and fluid. Unfortently it means I may have to reconsider some ideas for my next video. (Actually it wa sjsut your use of a lot of animated GIFs including that dancing fat girl). I knew this song would eventually be fanimaed and I'm glad you were the one to do it. I hope to see you eventually make another video soon. Animutations must not die!
Also, I'm curous,. What type of frame rate do you normally use for you videos which seems to make them look so smooth?

Moo. We are a cow. Take us to China.
